❗Server Rules
General Rules Any form of hacking, scamming, using bots, duping items, and/or modifying AsurielRO in any way is considered illegal.
Punishment: All Offenses: Permanent Ban
Using any character, party, guild name, and/or title that is intended to deceive, mislead, or impersonate other players is considered illegal. As such, the use of, but not limited to, "GM", "Game Master", "Security", and "Administrator" is not allowed. Furthermore, the official use of the AsurielRO name without permission from the server administrator is considered illegal as well.
Punishment: All Offenses: Permanent Ban
The abuse of any game and/or NPC bugs is considered illegal. Whenever you encounter and/or find a bug, you are responsible for reporting it at the soonest possible time. If it is proven that you were abusing it to your advantage, a higher punishment may be imposed instead.
Punishment: 1st Offense: A week ban 2nd Offense: A month ban 3rd Offense: Permanent Ban
Player Etiquette
At times, warnings may be given in the form of verbally warning a player, nuke, mute, kick, or a short jail time by an online GM. We highly encourage everyone to show a minimum form of respect for any and all players. Don't forget, the staff, which includes the Support Players (SP), Game Masters (GM), and Administrator are players as well. As such, swearing, insulting, and/or harassment, in any form, be it sexual, racial, or religious in nature is considered illegal. However, do note that due to the intensity of some PvP areas, the language that you may encounter there may not be to your liking. In this regard, we humbly ask you to prepare a higher level of tolerance for such language before joining PvP areas.
Punished according to the discretion of the GM and about the severity of the charge.
The act of repetitively begging for Zeny, items, buffs, a staff position, to be unbanned/unjailed, or any other information, through any means of communication (public chat, whispering, party/guild chats, etc.) is considered illegal.
Punishment: 1st Offense: Warn. 2nd Offense: Mute for 5 minutes. 3rd Offense: Mute for 15 minutes or Jail for one hour, depending on GM's discretion
Take Note: Do not give your username and/or password to anyone. This includes all players, staff members, Support Players, and Game Masters. A real Game Master will not ask for your username or password. If you did share your account information with someone, and that person takes items, deletes or drops items, trades/sells your items, and makes any other changes to your characters/accounts, do not ask a Game Master to replace your items or revert any changes that have been made to your character/account. Share your account at your own risk. If an account has been hacked and the owner of the account has been found to share their account information, the GM team will take no responsibility and will be unable to take any further action once proven. Trading with items to other players is at your own risk, if someone trades something to other players and they didn't return it back or do the deal properly do not ask for the GM team to take action for that.
Please use the following section to provide us with better reports. Quite often, we cannot punish a player because we are lacking information.
Using the replay feature
This is by far the easiest method to report offending players. While in-game, follow these steps to open the recording feature:
Click on the Rec button from the status bar.
Start the replay, give it a name and press Start.
When you are finished recording, press Stop.
Open your RO folder, go in the Replay folder and upload the file on the forum or send it directly to a GM if requested.
Take Screenshots
Take as many screenshots as necessary and upload them on the forum. We recommend using imgur to host the images.
In your screenshots, please show us that you've tried to talk with the problematic players and attempted to solve the issue by yourself first.
Use the Forum/Ticket System
Avoid requesting GM assistance for rule-breaking reports. We prefer that you use the forum to report such issues as it is easier for us to see the evidence you've collected.
Alternatively, you can also use the Ticket System.
If your report is regarding in-game KS, Vend/Chatroom, etc. you can always use @request <message> to contact current online GMs.
